Truckee AYSO is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization which is open to all 4 to 15 year-old children. Our volunteers organize and deliver soccer to nearly 800 players each year, and includes 150+ coaches, referees, and people responsible for fields, schedules, equipment, planning and everything else required for safe, instructional, fun soccer for kids. And a special mention for our youth volunteers.
The AYSO has successfully delivered quality soccer instruction and enriching experiences to generations of youth, and Truckee AYSO is proud to be a part of that record. We build players and community. Truckee AYSO offers a Fall program, Spring program along with summer soccer camps.
Volunteers make AYSO. We can always use more help. Whether you have a child actively in our programs or not, there are many ways to help. And your help builds community for our children.
Mission & Vision
Our vision is children’s lives enriched through soccer, and our mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on the AYSO philosophies.
Six Philosophies are living tenets that separate AYSO from other sports organizations. These tenets are Everyone Plays™, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development. Volunteers are the lifeblood of AYSO. To ensure the safety of both children and volunteers, each volunteer is required to take a short in-person or online training session called Safe Haven™. In AYSO, fans are asked to be cheerleaders, not critics. Kids Zone™ is a unique program that includes a parent commitment to positive, encouraging behavior when they’re watching the games.
